Soul-Centered Healing

Christine Page, MD

Too often, healing is viewed as a reduction in symptoms. Yet, we are more than just our physical or mental bodies; we have a spiritual, energetic core that seeks full expression on this Earth. Soul-centered healing starts from here, focusing on the true meaning of well-being.

10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (one-hour lunch break)
Five-Element Consciousness: Nourishing the Body with Foods that Heal

Nan Lu, OMD

Helping women find balance in today's society is a challenging one for healthcare practitioners. Though many signs and signals manifest themselves long before serious illnesses like breast cancer, heart problems, and depression appear, women's lifestyles are geared so that they have little time to pay attention to their bodies, let alone their minds and spirits. Nourishment on all three levels is essential to achieving real balance. One of the core aspects of this session is an exploration of how foods really heal, which foods help support the health of certain organs, especially the Liver, the most important organ in TCM for women's health, and how to apply eating for healing principles for yourself and your patients.

12:30 - 2:00 p.m. The Dragon's Way® Instructor Certification Training (Private Session: Prerequisite, The Dragon's Way® Instructor Certification Training Enrollment)

5:30 - 7:30 p.m
ABCs of TCM

Tracey Burde, LAc
(Complimentary session for conference participants)

Building Bridges for TCM continues to achieve its goal of helping to build bridges! Over the past eight years, we have seen a shift in the population of participants. While about half are acupuncturists, the other half now comes from a wide range of healthcare disciplines. If you would like to learn more about the fundamental principles and theories of this ancient holistic medical system, this is an excellent session to attend before the main conference. Or, if TCM is not your main area of practice, this session offers a refresher course on the basics. Either way, we invite you to this free workshop with former Tai Sophia faculty member, Tracey Burde, LAc.

8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Conference Opening Meditation
Creating Your Own Reality: The Energy Field and Harmonious Relationships

Nan Lu, OMD

To the extent that the relationships we enjoy with our family, friends, co-workers, community, Nature and the Universe, are harmonious, we can come to understand the degree of balance that exists in our lives. This special opening mediation will help center participants in the consciousness of how we create our own reality and how our own energy draws experiences to us. It will also allow us to amplify the already powerful energy field of this unique gathering.
